Avid beer drinker Eric Scheel got his start in homebrewing after getting a kit one Christmas from his wife, Maggie. Now, when he’s not searching the Web for cat memes or designing fake cat cutouts for needy friends, Eric spends his free time brewing beer.
Eager to learn and excel at his craft, brewing is becoming more than just a hobby. It’s a passion that pairs well with his 15 years as a graphic designer. Eric enjoys designing labels for his beer almost as much as brewing it. Label concepts play on the style of beer he’s brewed combined with his sense of humor and inter ests. His labels are effective and stand out when sharing them with family and friends who are eager to taste his homebrew.
Eric’s creative inspiration is as varied as his interests. Also varied are the TV shows and movies he enjoys, from “Breaking Bad” to “Big Trouble in Little China.” The Breaking Bad concept he used for one photo led to his winning the 2012 Midwest Supplies Boo Brew Costume Challenge.
Feel free to contact Eric at [email protected] if you have any graphic design needs. If you need it, he’ll figure out a way to get it done.
