Your cap is a pretty small area with large fun potential! The last thing we want is for you to be disappointed in your caps. Here is a quick guide for what you can expect from custom Bottle Caps
- small shifts in your artwork, occasional scratches on the cap surface from shipping, and a soft printing with font under 6pt. in size.
Because it is such a small area you may notice some small shifts in the print. It may seem more obvious because it is a circle and because of the size. Given the current print-on-demand technology, we cannot print every single cap perfectly without any shifting of images. So please be aware your caps image may shift slightly from cap to cap.

The image is clear and readable, just shifted slightly up on the cap surface. Most people will look at these caps and be impressed that your personal message is on them and how great your artwork is! For custom, small-run Bottle Caps, we feel these caps are the best on the market, even with a slight shift in artwork. Even commercial caps will have variations on them, if examined close enough.
To craft the best looking cap possible, follow our tips below:
Occasionally on really small type, the words may appear soft/slightly blurry. That is why we recommend larger type at least 6pt ( if you are using all capital lettering) or larger if you are doing both upper and lower case. Remember, you are previewing the file slightly above 100% so print it out at home at size to verify everything is readable.
You may also see some occasional scratches on the surface of your caps upon delivery. We try to remove the obvious ones before printing on them, but that is just inherent in caps that bang around in a big box before we get them. You may see some cosmetic nics and scratches on the caps, but if your set ships with a big scratch running down the middle of your image please let us know.
