Tips & Tricks: How To Avoid Smeared Text On Your Keg/Carboy Labels

Using our keg/carboy label is a great way to track your brew in style. If the dry erase crayon/wet erase pen isn't cutting it for you in your fermenting process, we recommend using a Sharpie. It will stand up to wet, you won't worry about accidentally wiping it off.

When you are ready to remove it, simply use some rubbing alcohol and a rag. With a bit of wiping you'll be all clear and ready for the next batch.

Keep in mind, you may get some residual color or staining (especially over time.) But we think the advantage of using the permanent markers are worth it.
