Growlers come in many different shapes and sizes. A few common ways to use our labels on growlers are as warning labels, standard labels and write on labels.
Your growler should be smooth (no bumps, textures or ridges), clean, and dry where you plan to apply your custom growler label. To choose the best size label for your use, measure the area where the growler is wide. Avoid applying to shoulders where the growler slopes because this will cause your label to wrinkle.

Choosing the size of label usually depends on space and use. Some may be looking for a label to cover a larger area with your brewery name or want space to write in style or notes, but others may just need a small warning label.
For home brewers not concerned with aftermarket warning labels or those who want space to write notes, we recommend a Basic or Volo sized custom label. If you want full coverage, nothing beats the Full Wrap sized personalized growler label if you have the room. If you just have a little space, consider the Mini sized label for a small logo and short name.
The Write-on style allows you to keep a stack of masterful looking labels on hand that you can write in the style/name/notes. Note what you have inside before taking and pouring your home brew to share.
