Skillet Beer Cheese

Beer cheese is the perfect addition to any carb - especially our Homemade Soft Pretzles - it's very simple but VERY tasty to make! 


3 cups shredded cheddar

8oz block cream cheese, softened

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp. freshly chopped chives, plus more for garnish

1 cup lager ( experiment with different styles - Brown, Amber, Marzen - just nothing too hoppy!)

Kosher salt

Pinch of cayanne pepper


1.) In a large cast iron skillet, add all your ingredients and cook on medium heat for about 15 min. This recipe also works well over a campfire!

2.) Once the cheese is melted to your liking, remove from the heat and start living your best life!
