Better Than Blank Beer Labels

Start with a Blank Beer Label

Many homebrewers like to label their beers for one reason or another – whether to make them more easily identifiable during aging, to give as gifts, or to flex their creative muscle.  To do that, you need some blank labels to print on, if you are printing from home.  At GrogTag, we don’t sell simply blank beer labels – we let you create your own!

Professionally Designed Templates

Our beer templates are designed, not simply drawn as with other online sites.  We have a full-time design staff that is constantly coming up with new and great ideas for our customers to customize and print on our special blank beer labels.

Reusable and Rewriteable Labels

GrogTags are so much more than paper and glue blank beer labels – they are the ultimate label. Our labels have a special adhesive backing that makes them reusable, so you can use the same labels over and over for different batches.  They can also be written on with washable crayons and wiped off for easy cleaning.  The best part is you don’t have to have a special printer to do it!  Our printing facility is state-of-the-art, providing you with superb color labels each and every time.

Design Your Own Custom Label

If you are interested in designing your very own label, you can use our Upload Your Own template on GrogTag.com.  There, you can upload any graphic or design you with, and it will be printed on high-quality, waterproof labels.  But what to design? This is where your inner artist comes out!

Start with a Blank Beer Label – End with a Personalized Masterpiece

There are many ways to approach creating your own design, and there is no right or wrong way to do it.  Most homebrewers who print on blank beer labels at home start with naming their beer, and that is a good place to start even if we are doing all the printing for you.  Think about the style of beer you brewed and even the even that you brewed it for, and consider naming your beer in relation to those.  For example, if you crafted a Brown Ale for your friend’s birthday party, you could call it “Birthday Brown” (simple, we know).  The image could be a cake, a shot of the birthday boy or girl’s friends, or even an embarrassing photo of the birthday subject.  The great thing about making your own label is that you get to control every aspect of the label!  If you need some more inspiration, check out our Hall of Fame to peek at how other customers have turned their virtual blank beer labels into silly, profane, beautiful and amazing custom creations.

Blank Beer Labels to Beautiful Designs in No Time

Once you have an idea for your beer label, you will need to download one of our blank beer label templates, along with our detailed instructions.  To do this, you will need a photo editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop, because the blank beer label template will require some manipulation.  Craft your label and make sure that it conforms to the specifications within the blank beer label template, then upload the image into our Upload Your Own beer template.  You have officially created your own beer label.   It’s a good idea to measure the face of your bottle to ensure the template you choose will fit.  Some shorter bottles (like ones from Sierra Nevada) will need to be rotated 90 degrees, as their bottle face is a touch shorter than standard bottles.
