How To Print Your Own Labels, Coasters and More
GrogTag Makes it Easy to Print Your Own Beer Labels
The hobby of making beverages at home is long-standing and rapidly growing. Along with that is the lost art of printing your own beer labels. Customizing your own labels is something anyone can do, and GrogTag makes it easy with our wide variety of templates for reusable labels, coasters, tasting mats, bottle caps, hangtags and more.
Our reusable labels are waterproof, fade-resistant and very high quality. GrogTag products are perfect for weddings and other special events as well as everyday brewing.
Step 1: Choose a Design (or Upload Your Own)
First, we need to choose the category of labels we are going to work with. Are you brewing up a special batch of your world-famous Oatmeal Stout? Or bottling up an easy-drinking table wine for the family? Are you designing something nice for a wedding? Or simply making Santa a nice welcome gift? To view our labels by group, move your mouse over the different header sections and a menu will drop down – or if you just want to scroll around, that’s ok too! You can search by theme or browse all of our designs just by mousing over the word Designs at the top of the screen.
Once you have your template chosen, you are ready to begin the journey to print your own beer labels! Or wine labels. Or coasters, even!
Step 2: Customize It
Let’s say you are making a beer for your cousin’s wedding, and for the purposes of this article, let’s say you chose to customize the “Elegant” template (a fine choice, by the way). From the bottle browser, click on the template, and you will be directed to the main template page. It is here that you can change the text fields and even the border color, to match the theme and feel of the wedding. Once you have made all of the good will gestures and sappy wedding/beer puns you can, click Approve and Continue, right below the image, and you are ready to print your own beer label!
Some of our customizable templates have the option to insert a photo and design your label around that. The easiest way to locate templates that have this feature is to click on the Load Your Own Photo link in the drop down menu – the same way we went to the Weddings section earlier. To the left, and underneath the text editors, you will see a button for uploading your own photo. Click on that, and a pop-up window will guide you through finding and uploading an image of your very own. Once it has been loaded, you will have the chance to crop the photo to better fit the label. Hit “Crop”, and the image will be loaded into the template. Easy, right? Then, as above, click Approve and Continue to print your own beer label – complete with a custom photo!
Step 3: Checkout
Once you are sure your labels are ready to go and click the approve and continue button, you will be taken to the next screen and you have several options:
- Need another label, matching coaster or metal sign? Just click “Add More Products”.
- Change the quantity if you just can’t get enough.
- Remove any products you may not need (but why would you want to do that).
- Complete your shipping information.
This page is super important since it is here you would enter any discount codes or your gift certificate code.
Make sure you chose the appropriate shipping method to ensure you get your order in time. For help determining what shipping option you need visit our Shipping Details page.
Once you’ve entered your payment information, you are ready for the final step.
This is your last chance to go back and make corrections. Confirm all the information and artwork is correct, hit the check box and the “Complete My Order” button.
That’s it! You’re done!
Good luck on your next label-making adventure.
