Make your own custom birthday beer labels

Not all beer is meant to be aged. However, most people do. So what better reason to drink up that hoppy IPA than in celebration of someone who is aged to perfection? To get your mental juices flowing we’ve set up a few demo labels. Remember, these are just ideas to show you how easy it is to customize your own birthday beer labels!

30TH BIRTHDAY BEER LABELS – USING THE CREATURE FEATURE DESIGN

For the 30th we chose the design template Creature Feature for this set of personalized beer labels for birthday boy, Steve. We chose Creature Feature because we wanted a lighthearted teasing label.  When we edited the text we had the necker say “Steve is 30″. On the main label we changed the top line to read “Taste the terror of Steve at” with the main name and style to read “Age 30″ so it would be nice and large. Then one last snarky comment about he looks dragged from the swamp to finish off this label.

40TH BIRTHDAY BEER LABELS – USING THE DOWNHILL DESIGN

For the 40th we chose the Downhill design template. We went for a more traditional looking label. Downhill has several colors to combine so we could make it match the birthday boy’s favorite colors. Downhill also has space for our great photo. We uploaded our photo of the birthday boy in the Upload Your Own Image section and cropped it in so we could see his smiling face better. This design has two message lines that are great for short little messages of cheer, wishes or thoughts about the person being celebrated.

50TH BIRTHDAY BEER LABELS – USING THE VINTAGE DESIGN

Finally, for the 50th we decided to go classy with the Vintage design template. Like the Creature Feature used for the 30th Birthday sample this one is text only. It does have two different textures and a bunch of different colors. We chose the red accents on a leather background. The necker we changed to read “Vintage Steve”. Like Steve, this beer has been aged in bourbon barrels so we left that line as is. We did change the owner’s line to read “Steve’s Birthday” and changed the name and style to read “50 Years”.

So many choices—sentimental, silly and unique. Let your imagination fly and create a memorable label, hangtag or coaster for the next birthday party you host! If you have more to say than a main with necker label allows for, check out the full wrap labels or the front and back so your full story can be shared.
